Pastor Ordination
My name is Christian A Schrock. I am married to Kimberly Schrock and we have a son, daughter, and grandson living with us. I began my journey with Christ long ago when my mother starting taking my brother and me to church when we were very young. In high school, I was given the option to continue going to church or not by my mother. Being young and not understanding the reason I should continue, I stopped going. But in the last few years, I felt a calling to know more of Christ and to seek pastor ordination.
I believe I understand why the church is losing young people so early in life. They don’t know that Christ is real and why He is needed in their life. In 2015, I was searching for a way to make a difference. During this time I started listening to Frank Turek, a well known Christian Apologist. Frank said something that I’ll never forget. He said that he believes ” the meaning of life is to know God and to make him known.” Through a series of events, I received a Christian apologetics certificate in 2016.
Since then, I have been trying to reach people but have found it difficult getting people to listen. So I decided I needed more training. Even though I wanted to be baptized for years I felt that I needed a better understanding of what it meant before I did it. In 2017, I was baptized by my pastor at the New Life Christian Church. After that, I have been looking to further my knowledge and faith in God. Since I began my journey with the Christian Leaders Institute, I have learned a lot. At first, I was a little skeptical about taking these courses online and even about Christian Leaders Institute in general. But since then I have found it to be challenging, very informative, professional, and a legitimate school.
I received a calling from God a few years ago and had been looking into schooling to fulfill this pastor ordination calling. I have found it at Christian Leaders Institute. I believe I can be a better pastor for God with the proper training and a pastor ordination. At my church right now, I have several opportunities for ministry and ways to do God’s work. I share the gospel with others in the church and out of it. Please pray that I can do God’s work and His will. And that I can fulfill my meaning and purpose in life to know God and bring others to know Him.
