Deacon Ordination Journey

My name is Abby Reyenga and this is the next step of my deacon ordination journey. I live in Grand Haven, Michigan, USA. I am CLI President Henry Reyenga’s daughter. I am in a committed relationship of 2 years with Mitchell Dominiak, who is also receiving his Deacon Minister Ordination.

I grew up in a Christian home which I am so thankful for. It was a wonderful thing to know about Christ as a child and to have that knowledge of God stay with me is a great gift. I have such a great family. But don’t get me wrong, my life has not been easy. My family and I were tested numerous times and in the most testing time is when I found my passion for ministry. After experiencing great trials in 2012, I fully and personally dedicated my life to Christ.

The Deacon Minister Ordination is such an honor for me on my deacon ordination journey. As the Student Advancement Director at CLI, I see the hard work each of the CLI Deacon Ministers put into their studies to receive this ordination. I am humbled and blessed by their stories and it is a joy to be able to share in this ordained leader role. This Ordination will assist greatly in the work I am doing at CLI. It has strengthened my confidence in my leadership skills as well as increased my desire to be a servant for Christ.

I see God opening doors for me in ministry. With CLI, there are so many incredible projects and communication opportunities that I have the pleasure of being able to work with. I thank God for the opportunity He has given me to study here as well as serve as a staff member of CLI. What God is doing in the lives of each of the CLI graduates is impossible to put into words. It is absolutely incredible. All the Chaplains, Pastors, Prison Ministers, Deacons, House Church Leaders, Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s Ministers, Music Ministry Leaders, and much more are so inspiring! I praise God I get to be a small part of it!

CLI has been formative to me on many levels in my personal, spiritual and professional life. The CLI classes have furthered and confirmed my calling into ministry especially ministry for advancing CLI! I can’t wait to continue on in more classes!

Please pray for me not to lose sight of my ministry dream to stay a part of Christian Leaders Institute. Pray that I stay strong in Christ and am a vessel for Him to minister to people all over the world. Also, please join me in praying for all the incredible leaders we have at CLI who are changing lives all for the glory of God!
