Officiant Training and Licensing
My name is John Rinke. The wedding officiant training and licensing with the Christian Leaders Insitute and Christian Leaders Alliance is an answer to prayer.
A follower of Jesus Christ since 1995, I accepted him as my Lord and Savior at a Promise Keepers conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was at the Hoosier Dome. After listening to Wellington Boone preach the message, I responded to his altar call. Married for 32 years to my wife Carey, we have three married children. I recently retired from Ford after working there for 34 years. We have our first grandchild due this year, and I am really looking forward to being a grandpa.
Wedding Officiant Training and Licensing
I was not thinking I would ever become a wedding officiant and wasn’t pursuing that ministry until my niece asked me to officiate her wedding. At first, I had mixed emotions about the request. I felt very honored and apprehensive simultaneously due to the responsibility of this blessed ceremony. Therefore, I prayed for guidance from our God. Also, I asked my pastor, my wife, my close Christian friend, and one of our elders from the church about this request. I am glad that our Almighty God gave me this opportunity. It humbled me that my niece asked me.
Having a servant’s heart, I appreciate all my blessings from God, especially my relationship with Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Jesus has helped me through many challenges in life and showed me how to grow as a Christian in Him.
Regarding the training for becoming a wedding officiant, I felt really comfortable with Christian Leaders Institute’s instruction on this topic. I would recommend it to others who may be interested in growing themselves in their work for the Lord.
