Marriage Ministry Call
I am Sharvone Grant from the Turks and Caicos Islands. Having a marriage ministry call, I wanted minister training and credentialing. Then, I found the Christian Leaders Institute and Alliance online with free ministry courses and credentialing.
My Story
I was born in the Bahamas. However, my strong heritage goes back to the Turks and Caicos Islands. I grew up in both countries when my family and I relocated to Turks and Caicos during my formative years. Both nations are renowned for their awe-inspiring beauty. It is in the Turks and Caicos Islands, where I now reside. Seeking personal growth, I pursued my university education in the USA. There, I earned a degree in Radiologic Technology. As a dedicated mother to my precious child, I am truly blessed. I devote my life to God as a born-again believer. Furthermore, I reverence my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life.
Reflecting on my lineage, three of my grandparents actively served as ministers in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not only did they exemplify the teachings of Christ, but they also instilled these values in their children and grandchildren. I engaged in dance, choir, and praise team ministries at my local Bahamas and Turks and Caicos church. During high school, I also joined a liturgical/miming dance group called The Silent Lambs. Together, we ministered in our schools and community events, spreading the message of faith and love. Whether through the power of dance, the harmony of voices in the choir, or the uplifting melodies of the praise team, I have witnessed the ability of these ministries to touch hearts and bring people closer to God.
Marriage Ministry Call
Throughout my journey, I have felt a resounding calling to participate in a movement promoting healthy marriages. Unveiling the unhealthy beliefs and misconceptions surrounding matrimony is a cause that resonates deeply within my heart. I believe a marriage can thrive when partners are wholeheartedly committed to one another and dedicated to spiritual growth by aligning themselves with God’s Word.
When I entered matrimony, I envisioned a partnership that God could utilize to bring glory to His name. Unfortunately, my marriage ultimately ended in divorce. Despite this challenging experience, my Christian beliefs remain steadfast, and I have never wavered in my faith in God’s design. Therefore, it compelled me to delve deeper into personal growth and self-examination. Although I cannot testify on reconciliation in my case, I know that with God’s help and guidance, any marriage can be sustained or restored.
I began experiencing recurring dreams in which my sister and I led marriage seminars and retreats. These dreams had a profound impact on my aspirations. They motivated me to prioritize my education and training. After searching and waiting for an opportunity, the Lord guided me to the Christian Leaders Institute and Alliance website. This encounter with such a highly regarded Christian learning institution became pivotal, especially during this particular season.
As I embark on this transformative journey and present my plans before the Lord, I humbly pray for His continued guidance and direction. As a willing vessel, I hope the Holy Spirit will bless couples. Ultimately, my purpose is to submit to, obey, glorify, and worship the One True and Living God.
