Ordained Evangelist Calling

Greetings! My name is James F. Crank. I currently reside in Noble, Oklahoma. Having an ordained evangelist calling from God, I discovered the Christian Leaders Institute for Ministry Training and the Christian Leaders Alliance for Ordination and Minister Credentials.

My wife, Marie, and I, happily married for thirty years, raised three handsome and successful young men. God blessed us in many ways. We thank Him and give Him the glory for it all.

My Spiritual Journey

I grew up in a Baptist home. At 10, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. For most of my childhood, I attended church until we moved out of town. Then, getting to church became a challenge, so we eventually stopped going. I followed my mom’s pattern of reading the Bible every day. However, things changed. I found myself constantly busy with other things. Eventually, I neglected reading my Bible and other practices that strengthened my walk with God. Therefore, although my spiritual journey started well, I backslid for some time.

But God had other plans for me. He gave me my wife, Marie, and a family of three beautiful boys. Of course, in every marriage, there are struggles, and we had our share of them. However, God was always there. I felt Him whenever I messed up. Soon, I realized, through these struggles, that I felt ashamed and unworthy of God’s love and grace. Recently, Marie had the opportunity to volunteer at a place connected to a local church. They invited her to attend. She agreed, and that Sunday, we attended. There was so much joy and overwhelming love generated in this church! So, we continued going. Three weeks later, I rededicated my life to Christ.

Ministry Calling

I want to preach God’s Word to all the world. As Matthew 28:19 states, “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”(KJV). Jerry Falwell, Billy Graham, and John Hagee had a profound impact on me. Every time I watched these leaders for Christ, the Holy Spirit filled me with an unexplainable warmth and excitement. God gave me an ordained evangelist calling. I even dreamed about standing in front of a church and declaring the good news of Christ.

God gave me an opportunity, and I wasted it. I backslid a number of times. Yet, God was still there. There was even a moment when I was so torn up that I felt ashamed and unworthy to come to Him, yet He was still there! Then, when I finally stepped into the church with Marie, I experienced overwhelming joy and love! It was awesome! God was real to me that day; He’s real every day! Three weeks later, I rededicated my life to Christ. We continue to attend church on Sundays. Marie and I also attend the Wednesday Bible study.

Ordained Evangelist Calling

My hope for studying at the Christian Leaders Institute is to get the adequate training necessary to become an ordained evangelist. I hope to stand in front of numerous people and witness that GOD IS ALWAYS THERE!  I recently completed the Licensed Christian Wedding Officiant course at CLI. Furthermore, I got credentialed with the Christian Leaders Alliance.

Therefore, I am excited to take the next steps in my ministry to be a leader and conqueror for Christ! Christian Leaders Institute and Alliance are such a blessing to me. God opened this door of opportunity with CLI, and I accepted it. Thank you, Christian Leaders Institute and Christian Leaders Alliance, for the opportunity to excel at my goal. May The Lord Jesus Christ bless you in every way!
