Woman Deacon Ordination

My name is Rebecca Oluranti Ademoye. I am forty years old and I am called to receive my woman deacon ordination. I was born to a Christian family. My father was a pastor in a Gospel Church while I grew up and my mother sang for the Lord. Growing up in a Christian family was the best gift that I ever received from my parents. But my parents had a marital crisis and the family broke up when I was about to leave high school. I began to get confused about the Christian beliefs, but we were still living with my father and had no choice but to follow that Christian part. When I gained admission into the university, I met my better half who was also a student. He also came from a good Christian background with his mother as a deaconess and his stepfather as a pastor. With this as our spiritual background, we were able to maintain our Christian beliefs.

Today we are blessed with four children: three girls and a boy. Also, we were called into full-time ministry about seven years ago. God placed a ministry of salvation, deliverance, and healing into our hands. The name of our ministry here in Nigeria is Christ Atonement and Liberty Ministries (CALM) and we are pressing forward in faith. This ministry training is a golden opportunity for me to update my knowledge of the Bible and in the ministerial work. Like the word of exhortation given to Timothy by Paul in the book of 2nd Timothy 2:15 which says, “Study to show thyself approved to God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” I believe that every minister of God should give themselves to learning so as to make us effective to the fullest capacity. Jesus also gave training to his disciples which prepared them for effectiveness in ministry thus enabling them to reach many for the Gospel. Having a scholarship in Christian Leaders Institute will be of a great benefit to someone like me. Since I am a full-time minister of the Gospel who cannot afford an expensive programme and need vital training for effectiveness in ministry. The woman deacon ordination will assist me greatly in the ministry as it equips me with the thorough understanding of the Word of God and sound doctrine. A true minister needs to acquire knowledge and develop himself/herself spiritually, especially in the word, all of which CLI has been able to offer.

The open door that is in my path right now is that I have improved my knowledge of the Word and have this woman deacon ordination. This gives me the courage to speak the word more than before because the Bible says we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free. Also, I have learned about chaplaincy /chatplaincy which gives me the ministerial opportunity to meet people that are being oppressed or need to be encouraged due to their wounded and broken heart. As it is written in Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prisons to them that are bound.” It also opens the ministerial doors of praying for the lost and those that are oppressed by demonic activities.

My work in ministry has been wonderful since my local church has been very supportive and encourages women in ministry. This acceptance has enabled me to be effective in my calling and diligently serve in my local church with this woman deacon ordination. The coworkers in the vineyard have also been cooperative in working together with the aim of reaching the lost and expanding God’s kingdom. This free ministry training and ordination is formative in my future ministry because I have learned much that prepares me for ministry challenges and ministry work. It has given me a lot of information and experience that is needed for the future of my ministry. Please pray for my ministry on spiritual warfare in my locality. There are a lot of antichrist activities that are standing against the truth, so we need prayers.
