Ordination and Study Opportunity

My name is Josh Stroud, and I am grateful for the ordination and study opportunity at CLI. I am a Youth Pastor on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I chose the Christian Leaders Institute as an additional path to further learning about God’s Word. The School of Christ with Brother Clendennen is another outlet where I furthered my ministry knowledge. I have spent over ten years in the Youth Ministry, whether it be in counseling, preaching, ministering, mentoring, and much more.

In 2017, I spent some time working in southeast Europe. There I faced moderate persecution for my faith. The population I was living in was ninety-five percent Islamic. Through Christ, I found strength and ministered the Word of God when He opened the door of opportunity.

CLA Ordination and Study Opportunity at CLI 

I do not need the ordination through the Christian Leaders Institute and with the Christian Leaders Alliance since I am already ordained through my church and with my state. However, as I mentioned above, I chose this schooling for additional education and the ordination opportunity. Currently, I am finishing up the Deacon Ordination Certificate and am also taking the classes required for the Commissioned Youth Pastor.

I praise God for the opportunities He has made available to me to further my walk with Him. Furthermore, I humbly seek His guidance not just when I am ministering but also in my daily walk. I plan to continue taking the free online ministry classes at CLI. Also, if it is God’s will, I hope to achieve a Bachelor’s Degree with the Christian Leaders College. I appreciate the Christian Leaders Institute, Christian Leaders Alliance, and Christian Leaders College. I pray God’s will to be done in my life and through these ministry courses.
