Wedding Officiant License

Hi! My name is Audrey Lourens. I am 36 years old. I am excited to get the Christian wedding officiant license with the Christian Leaders Alliance.

My Journey

When I was 15 years old, I met my husband Pieter, and we will be celebrating our 16th anniversary in November! We have three beautiful children. Our daughter was born when I was 23 and our twin boys when I was 24, exactly 18 months apart.

I have always been a Christian but never fully understood the principles of being a faithful follower of Christ. I gave my heart to God on February 17, 2017. But I did not seek him full-heartedly yet. In 2019, I started looking for answers to what was happening in my life and that of my household. In that same year, I was baptized and am now seeking God more! I want to learn more and help others to find their way to God.

Called to Minister

In the last year, God has revealed so many things to me. My knowledge has grown so much that it has put me in a position where I can start helping and counseling people with profound hurt. By this, I can help them see how much God loves them and how He sets the captives free. Thus, God can bring healing to the brokenhearted and the sick. He is a God of love.

Being able to grow my knowledge more and step into my calling is exciting for me. With the wedding officiant license, I want to help people build Christ-based and filled marriages. I am also studying to be a chaplain to work with people in hospitals and help them feel God’s presence. Thank you, CLI and CLA for this opportunity!
