How Becoming an Ordained Minister Brings Glory to God
Hi! My name is Ed Meshechek. I am 70 years old. Wow! Why would someone 70 years old want to go to college and work on his ministry degree? That’s a great question. I have a simple answer to your question with a question. Wouldn’t everyone? Of course, they would! Especially if that person has a fire in them fueled by the Holy Spirit. That is why I am studying at the Christian Leaders Institute and becoming an ordained minister with the Christian Leaders Alliance.
I have been ministering in some fashion all my adult life. Whether it was giving Bibles and tracts away, preaching to the crowd, working in a maintenance capacity in or for the church, or knocking on doors, inviting the lost to come and check out our Living and Saving Jesus. It’s my duty as a Christian. As the Apostle Paul states, “To each of us a ministry has been given.” In it, we praise and glorify God for everything He gives and provides (which is everything). My job is to do His work. I feel as an ordained minister, I can do my job more professionally.
