Become Ordained in Mississippi: Your Path to Wedding Officiant Ministry and More

Becoming ordained in Mississippi to officiate weddings is a profound way to serve your community while celebrating life’s most cherished moments. Known for its rich cultural heritage, scenic rivers, and southern charm, Mississippi provides an unforgettable setting for weddings. Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA) offers study-based credentials to help you meet Mississippi’s legal requirements and thrive in this sacred role.

Understanding Mississippi’s Wedding Officiant Laws

In Mississippi, religious officiants such as ministers, priests, and rabbis must be ordained by a recognized organization to officiate weddings. While the state does not require officiants to register, having proper ordination documentation is crucial for legal compliance and providing proof of authority. After the ceremony, officiants are responsible for completing and returning the marriage license to the circuit clerk for official recording.

Mississippi Ordination Story

Hello, I’m L. McDonald.

I was raised in a small town in Mississippi, where church life was a central part of my upbringing. Every Become Ordained in MississippiWednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, I attended church, sang in the choir, and assisted in Bible classes. From a young age, I had a close relationship with God. However, as I grew older, I felt myself drifting away and knew I needed to rebuild that connection. In 2011, I began teaching Sunday Bible School at my church—a role I truly cherished. Teaching children about the importance of a relationship with God brought me immense joy and fulfillment.

My life’s goal is to help others find and nurture their relationship with God, especially those who don’t know where to begin. This calling led me to Christian Leaders Institute (CLI), where I am pursuing ordination. CLI has been a blessing, equipping me to lead Bible study groups at my home, spread God’s word, and testify to His blessings. Through CLI, I’ve also started life coaching and pre-marriage counseling, helping others uncover their potential and overcome obstacles to reach their goals.

With the Deacon Minister Ordination from CLI, I plan to expand my ministry by starting a nonprofit organization to serve those in need. I am committed to leading others closer to God and sharing His love and grace with everyone I encounter.

Please join me in prayer for wisdom as I guide others toward a deeper relationship with God. I strive to be a faithful servant of the Lord, embodying His love and truth in all that I do.

Blessings and love,
L. McDonald
