To be used by God to make disciples who make disciples all for the Gospel of God!
John Grove lives in Florida working in ministry. He is ordained as a Deacon Minister in 2018 with the CLA.
Read John Grove's testimony below:
"I was born and raised in Baltic, Ohio, where my mom and Grandmother were the spiritual influences in my life. My mom took my siblings and I to church and by the time I was in the fourth grade I had seen two churches go through horrible splits. This caused me to become angry and confused sending me to find answers on my own. I went down the wrong path and I eventually got heavily involved in the occult.
After high school I joined the Navy, I served four years as a gas turbine mechanical technician. After my honorable discharge, I returned to Baltic and became a reiki master. My beliefs at that time would line up with what we now identify as "New Age".
I was introduced to a new pastor in the area who had come to Baltic from Alaska to fill the call at a local church. Larry Smithwick is an expository preacher, which was new to me at the time. He managed to lovingly expose the errors in my thinking by showing me scripture, not just telling me his opinions. Over the next five years Larry, and his wife Shari, chose to invest into the lives of me and my wife, Tanya. I am certain that the discipleship was the missing link for me as a child which allowed me to drift so far from the Truth of GOD.
I now have a burning desire to disciple those who want to know GOD for themselves. I am willing to pour my life into those that want to go that extra mile, just the same as Larry did for me.
Because God used Larry to disciple me I am now the congregational pastor at Living Hope Community Church in Ocala, FL. We have the same passion to make disciples who make disciples and this is why we are partnering with Christian Leaders Alliance in becoming a mentor center.
As John looks around he realizes that we are in desperate need of another revival period. He is open to whatever God has for him.
CLI training has opened doors for John to serve in ways He did not think possible. He have been involved in a small church in a town near where He lives. This church was going to close it’s doors last fall when a group of churches stepped in to provide ministerial and financial support. He has been able to preach there on a monthly basis for several months, have gotten to know several new bothers and sisters in Christ. It is not completely evident what God has planned for that small church, but His timing is perfect.
John was not alway close to God. He had put God on the back burner, and when he needed help, he cried out to Him. About a decade years ago, his first wife passed away. He spent many years mad at God and drinking excessively.
His son pulled him out of the mire and re-introduced me to God. Since that time, John has rededicated his life to Him, and realize now that He is the reason He is here and can do nothing but live His life for God.
Since that time, God has blessed John with a new church family and especially a beautiful new wife. John married Barb in the summer of 2015. She is a true gift from God. Barb has walked with John every step of the way.
John is a commissioned minister at Christian Leaders Alliance and is willing to encourage others to follow God's calling.

Share the Love of Christ ministering to couples by officianting at their weddings.
Julie Tucker is a wedding officiant. In fact, Many couple have their wedding ceremony at her home in the country.
Julie has had to wear many hats and have many titles in the corporate world for 33 years. In 2015, she left the corporate world and started, "Weddings with Julie" She loves being part of the Bride & Groom's Wedding Day.
Julie married her best friend, James Ray Tucker, on her 30th Birthday and from that very moment we have been involved in ministry. Julie and her husband have been youth leaders, out-reach pastors, and even operating The SonShine Bus ministry for many years.
Julie is thankful for the opportunity to study from home! She is eager to learn more and so thankful to have found CLI. She live in a big city in the Bible Belt where you think everyone goes to church and loves the Lord. But day after day, she meet more folks that don't have a church home, they don't have a Pastor or Mentor, they don't have anyone to come pray with them in time of difficulty and some of them have never heard the name of Jesus, that literally breaks my heart. She is willing to be a mentor to Christian Leaders Institute students and help with their ordination.
To minister to those experiencing lost in chaplaincy! Also, to mentor and encourage other Christian Leaders.
Kelly Boland was adopted into a family that didn't go to church except on holidays and told her she was free to believe whatever it is that she wanted and she was always interested in religion and spirituality. When she moved, she met a neighbor who became her best friend and her family would invite Kelly to church every Sunday. Kelly was so excited to go and join her, however, when she would go to church with her and her family she would get grounded upon returning home. Unfortunately, her family moved a couple years later and there was no way for her to continue to attend this particular church. She went to many different churches teaching many different things and was baptized into 6 different religions. She absolutely love reading the word and immersing herself into the churches activities.
She has had all four grandparents pass away, as well as friends, neighbors, and a boyfriend long ago. She remember when my grandfather was going to and from chemotherapy and he was was sick all the time. She would sit with him and tell him she loved him. She was 16 at the time, and she was told a lot to go outside or leave the room. She wanted to console him and her Grandma too! She remember sitting with him and hearing him talk about what heaven would be like and how he was ready to see his mom and dad again and how she shouldn't be afraid for him or worry because he would be with Jesus. A passion has been ignited within Kelly, since that day, to bring word of God's love to those who are sick or dying through Chaplaincy or being a Funeral Minister and to give hope to their families that they will see their loved ones again and how to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, who makes it possible.
Kelly was ordained as a Women's Minister in 2018 with the Christian Leaders Alliance!

Her ministry dream is to partner with other Christian leaders, ministries, churches and outreach centers to teach, disciple and mentor new Women believers and Women's Christian Leaders. Her passion is the women are fully rooted and grounded in the word in order to avoid going astray or shipwrecking their faith. She has written devotionals for women.
Laurie has a pastor’s heart for women, who were raised in the church but have fallen away, or baby Christians that were not disciplined and never grew their faith. The Lord has put so many of them in them in her path; disillusioned by legalism and “religion” they are hungry for Gospel of truth and grace. She has ministered to women who have been successful in business but found their lives empty.
