Ministry Dream

Patrick's ministry dream is to share the love and hope of Christ to everyone God brings in his life. He is passionate about mentoring others in ministry.

Ministry Journey

Patrick Garlock was born in southern California, the youngest of an integrated family of 10 boys. Patrick mother passed away when he was 11. He moved to Kansas. His father remarried. He died when Patrick was 12.

When Patrick was 16 years of age, his girlfriend, Stacy and he went to church. He heard the message of salvation through Jesus Christ, who died on the cross. He embraced Christ as his Savior.

Stacy and Patrick were married and had two children. As Patrick's children reached the age of college, Stacy died of Leukemia. Partick lost his wife of 22 years.

On Stacy's deathbed, Stacy encouraged Patrick to return to church. He did. He became renewed in his faith.

He started Christian Leaders Institute in 2015 and was later ordained as a Commissioned pastor. He is now the senior pastor of that very church. He married the children's director. There is so much more to this amazing story.

Patrick is willing to mentor Christian Leaders Institute students or graduates in the Kansas City or Topeka area. He will help guide them through the ordination process.

Patrick Williams

Ministry Journey

My name is Patrick Williams currently resides in Tucson, AZ, where he is retired. In his adult life, he has always worked in a field where he was servicing the community. Served in the USAF as a Police Officer for 20 years, volunteer Firefighter, EMT for 8 years and now for the past 20 years he has been a nurse.

"I grew up in a semi-religious family but it was never a priority. Always a strong believer in GOD, but he was never in the forefront of my life. That changed around a couple years ago. I come to realize that my public service was a stepping stone to the encounters I had as a child. It was God teaching and preparing me for what I feel is His next plan for me and that is to serve our Lord in the Ministry. I feel truly blessed for every day for the gifts that He has given me and I humbly pray that my works will continue to glorify His word and His holy name.

Through Christian Leaders Institute, I have completed just another small step in my walk with Christ.  Completing the Deacon Minister Ordination opened another avenue where I completed the Ordained Commissioned Minister course.  The accomplishment of completing the course of study brings forth an increase of humbleness.  I can only pray that the Lord finds me worthy and continue to guide me through my day to day walk in Christ.  I have already witnessed how His calling in my life has changed me.  The way I approach each day, the way I speak to each and everyone I meet and most important the way in which I live my life.  As Colossians 4:6  reads, " Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

Patrick Williams is ordained as a Commissioned Minister with CLI in 2018!

Ministry Dream

To come together as one to raise up revival leaders!

Ministry Journey

Read Our Testimony:

Our names are Rodney and Susan Colson. We have taken two totally different paths to get to where we are right now. Susan was raised in a Christian home, but she has since realized that her family had been just going through the motions of Christianity. Susan’s life as an adult took a rough path. After a couple failed marriages, Susan became a single parent with two boys. I, on the other hand, took a different path. I was raised by my mother who was a Christian. I became a believer when I was 12 but never really became disciplined in faith. I turned to satan(I refuse to capitalize this cowards name) and ultimately turned to myself as my god. I became addicted to drugs, alcohol, pornography among many other things, so much as to land myself in prison for 5 years. This is where I rededicated my life to Christ. I have never looked back since. Upon my release, I was reconnected with Susan. On October 26, 2015, this beautiful woman became my wife. On January 1, 2016, after several months of prayer, God placed on our hearts to start our own ministry. This was the kick off of our ministry, A NEW YOU OUTREACH. Our ministry has been involved with assisting families of inmates as well as marriage ministry. Susan and I were ordained January 22, 2017. We have been very active with our ministry, from hosting bible studies to providing food to struggling families. God has opened so many doors for us over the past few years. We are going on our third year as CLI students. We are working towards our Bachelor of Divine Ministry. Susan feels that God has called her to become a Hospice Chaplain. She currently works with the elderly and is full of compassion and love for people. Susan sees the Jesus in all people. We have been appointed as the marriage ministry leaders at our current church. We are both active with Family Life and the Angel Tree Project. We set out to show love to those who feel unlovable and to teach the Good News to those who feel unteachable. We look to find Jesus in all people. We are still in God fire, being refined!!! Our love for God and His love and mercy burns deep inside of the both of us. We are here to do the work of God. We know that God wants no one to perish, so our desire is to go forth and increase the family of believers. We are here to serve and do Gods will.
