Ordination Study
Ordination Study
I have a call to serve God and I am doing the ordination study. I was born in 1960 in Williamsburg, VA and then my family moved to West Virginia. I graduated high school in 1978 and completed one year of college. I had no scholarship and it was hard paying my way. So I joined the US Army where I spent 20 years as a Military Policeman and then I retired.
I was raised and baptized in the Church of Christ. I’ve always had the feeling and desire to be a minister. I moved to the Philippines after retiring and that is where I am currently living. I had some severe medical problems which I prayed for God’s relief with them. That is again when I knew my purpose was to become a minister and help others to come to the Lord. I want to continue my training at Christian Leaders Institute and obtain the needed knowledge to preach and teach properly about the word of God. I have learned a lot thus far from my studies and I desire to obtain more knowledge and training at every level possible in order to reach others for Christ.
I have completed the Officiant Ministry Ordination with Christian Leaders Alliance. Being ordained as a House Church Leader will enhance my knowledge and be the next step for me in order to be properly trained as a pastor. Many open doors have been made available to me by God in the area that I am living. I see a lot of lost people that never had anyone to teach and train them about the Bible, God, and Jesus.
This training has helped me a lot because I am retired with a set budget and limited funds. The training has given me the needed and added knowledge in order for me to be able to participate in the spread of the gospel and be able to reach as many as possible. I want to be a better servant for God. I am going to continue my ordination study and gain more knowledge of the word of God so I can serve where He leads me. Thank you, CLI, for this opportunity.
