To Raise up Revival Leaders!
Brian has completed 74 credits and has a Diploma in Ministry.
Brian's Testimony:
I am a South African citizen living in a beautiful world-renowned city of “Durban” in South Africa. South Africa boasts of a culturally rich and diverse ethical atmosphere, and is better known as the “Rainbow Nation”. Peoples of every nation and tongue connect here on our home soil. Religious practices of every kindred are respected and encouraged to flourish within their homes and communities. Christianity like all other religious movements is respected and tolerated equally well here. I hail from a community steeped in idol worship. My small village “Illovo” which is situated in the lower South Coast of Durban has three idol filled temples and two small churches. Everyone is happy and peaceful here. There is rarely or hardly any evangelism done here. On the bigger scale, Christianity is well rooted in South Africa. Both foreign and local ministries (Multi – Denominations) flourish here on South African soil.
Christian Leaders Institute has helped pave the way for me to receive a sound world-class biblical education. The presentation of the study and course material by professional teachers is highly commendable. I have experienced many positive life-changing moments as I pursued my studies here at CLI. Both the study material and the CLI faculty have challenged me in my thinking and in the way I do and perceive things. My mind has been greatly renewed; my understanding of scripture has taken on a new scriptural and biblical dimension. I would strongly recommend any sincere individual, who is serious about God and the Holy Scriptures, to come and study here at Christian Leaders Institute. I am greatly indebted to CLI. Christian Leaders Institute has made it possible for me to be successfully ordained as a pastor.
To raise up revival leaders!
Deidre Dominick is 44 years old. Deidre is married and the mother of 2 incredible boys and lives in Cape Town, South Africa.
Deidre has completed 21 credit hours at CLI is ordained as an officiant minister.
Deidre's testimony in her own words:
The first encounter I had with God was when I was 6yrs old. God showed me in a vision a Shepherd herding sheep. When I was 9 years old, I started studying the book of Revelation. I got saved when I was 14, received the holy spirit and spoke in tongues that very same night. Was baptized 3weeks later.
My life since then has been a series of prophecies from local and international Pastors and prophets and prophecies including the birth of my son, being a community leader and spreading the gospel to nations. I always felt a strong desire to see not just revival in the church, but Christians receiving the revelation of the love of God and centering him in the church and in their lives.
15 years after I was saved God gave me a vision of the church. That led to me writing my first book called 'The Vision of the Church'. I am the founder of a voluntary non- profit organization called women's incorporated community outreach (WINCCO). The organization is for the upliftment and empowerment of women. It is in running this organization that I have decided to join CLI to equip me for the mission of spreading the gospel through this organization.
The calling to teach the Gospel to women has been clarified more with every step I took to the starting of the organization I run.

Raise up revival leaders through mentoring and launching them into ministry. To reach SA with the gospel.
Type of Minister: Thinus: Commissioned Minister
Maretha: Women's Minister
Ministry Dream: Raise up revival leaders through mentoring and launching them into ministry. To reach SA and Africa with the gospel.
Ministry Journey:
Thinus and Maretha (Retha) Pretorius are married and are partners in Ministry, in Pretoria, South Africa.
In 1974, at the age of 16, Thinus gave his heart to Christ, was called by God to full-time ministry, but due to various factors, he never went to Seminary.
Thinus and Retha got married in 1981 and were involved in youth ministry and later in various "positions" in church life.
In 2000, Thinus had a personal encounter with the Holy Spirit that changed his life and took him out of his comfort zone. The sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit forced him to ask the big questions and quickened his calling and passion for ministry.
The encounter began a process of purifying and confirmation, both in Thinus and Retha. Thinus began ministering to others. He was soon joined by Retha, who accepted her calling after a period of responding, " No,... ministry is not for me...!"
They ministered for years with some informal training. (Retha attended an informal Bible School for 4 years). Their formal training through Christian Leaders Institute began for Thinus in 2014 and for Retha in 2015. They have many advanced diplomas through Christian Leaders Institute. Thinus is ordained as a commissioned minister and Retha as a women's minister. They are senior pastors of Christian Leaders Community Church in Pretoria.
They encourage other CLI students by hosting regular meetings for mentoring purposes as well as assisting them in ministry needs such as formally registering their ministries and facilitating practical ministry training sessions. They also assist new students enrolling at CLI and facilitate Ordination services for CLI students.
